It wasn’t that important to solve anyway,
which is good, because it doesn’t yield
to analysis or much of anything.
Even in physics we learned one can observe
vector or velocity, not both,
which leaves room for something. Call it God,
but not the god of flannel cutouts in cigar boxes,
musty Sundays, leading us to ever more thinking.
But it’s not nothing.
Or if it is, it’s the type of nothing
expressed in the tired old lines:
Have you seen my wife?
Is she about 5’2″, red haired, wearing a blue sweater?
That’s her! Have you seen her?
No, man, I haven’t.
haha sure you haven’t…and nice bit of irony in that in comparison to the space left open for God…or something like that…smiles.
An interesting, humorous take on the Heisenberg principle! God in the uncertainty, in the non-commutability of the position and momentum matrices.
nice…thanks for the smile…and loved the…but not the god of flannel cutouts in cigar boxes..
I love jokes like that. And the implication that we somehow know what we think we do not know is the stuff of poetry, I think.
Thanks – sorry for the delay in approving your comment – got lost in the shuffle!
Yeah, what Semaphore said :).
This has a defined quality and quantity of words that propel you through the human experience and i love it
