I can’t seem to recreate
the conditions under which
I create.
I planned to do 365 posts this year. Behind at least 2 as of now. Exhausting weekend, sleepless night, an old cat that had to be put down, and a winter storm. There’s got to be a poem in there somewhere.
I was watching TV at the gym today when I thought there might be some poetic hay to be made over the disclaimers in TV commercials. But how to get those disclaimers in a form you can read? Wonder no more…
I’ll go ahead and admit that I’m cheating. I wanted to write a post every day this year. Today is January 2. I’ve dated this post Jan. 1. Maybe the new goal is: post 365 times…
I’ve decided to write my ars poetica as a page and put it on the menu. My blog posts are typically not revised or polished, but I may revise, or at least extend, my effort to add to the ars poetica genre during this year.
Working on some longer form prose right now. May post some samples soon.

I didn’t post in the entire month of April. You know – poetry month. I suck. But I’m still alive and will be back at it.
